About the Position Works under the general supervision of the Chief, Equipment Management Branch, Logistics Division, provides scheduled and unscheduled equipment maintenance and services on all medical maintenance significant medical device for the organization along with all outlying clinics

Duties

Provides scheduled and unscheduled equipment maintenance and services on all medical maintenance significant medical device for the organization along with all outlying clinics. Serve as a point of contact for medical maintenance and repair requests. Track medical equipment service requests. Prepare reports for section. Provide administrative support to the Chief, Equipment Management Branch.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-05 grade level in the Federal service which includes providing scheduled and unscheduled equipment maintenance and services on all medical maintenance significant medical device, and tracks and maintains service and repair records, and process and submits work orders and receives and review supply request and perform administrative, secretarial and clerical duties. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-05). AND Proficiency Required: This position requires a qualified typist. A qualified typist can type 40 words per minute based on a 5 minute sample with three or fewer errors. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: ConscientiousnessCustomer Service (Clerical/Technical)Manages and Organizes InformationTechnical Competence Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-05)
