About the Position: This is a PERMANENT position located with the Army Community Services on Fort Stewart, GA.
-Relocation incentive of $5,700 is authorized.
Duties
Facilitate Army Records Management (ARIMS) procedures and processes.
Operates as primary administrator in Defense Travel System (DTS), inputs travel authorizations and/or submits vouchers for final approval.
Maintains oversight of calendars for the Director and Deputy.
Composes correspondence based on policies, precedents, and practices.
Coordinates personnel actions in automated accountability systems for the organization.
Completes awards with accuracy on all performance management and awards activities.
Serves as the Training Coordinator to execute forms control, records management, and file maintenance for documents on all actions.
Coordinates and schedules appointments, meetings, functions, events, staff leave or TDY.
Oversees administrative and office operations and responds to issues and inquiries.
Perform Automated Time Attendance and Production System (ATAAPS) time and attendance keeping.
Attends assigned meetings, record and publish minutes.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- A National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) background investigation is required.
- Employee is required to take appropriate training to receive Certificate of Completion for the Army Records Information Management System (ARIMS).
- Temporary duty travel of 5% may be required.
- This position requires incumbent to possess the skills of a qualified typist of 40 words per?minute (WPM).

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes 1) managing administrative and office operations; 2) preparing complex office correspondence; 3) maintaining oversight of calendars for senior leadership; and 4) utilizing Automated Time Attendance and Production System processes to record time.
Proficiency Required: This position requires a qualified typist. A qualified typist can type 40 words per minute based on a 5 minute sample with three or fewer errors.

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-08).
