About the Position: This position is a DOD Cyber Excepted Service (CES) personnel system position in the Excepted Service under 10 USC 1599f. Employees occupying CES positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25.
This position is with the 7th Signal Command, 106th Signal Brigade, Command Section located at FORT LEAVENWORTH, KANSAS.
Duties
Performs organizational structure and workforce staffing/utilization actions and studies on procedural and relationship issues, to identify, coordinate and develop improvements in efficiency.
Manages, reviews, monitors, and ensures input of all electronic Requests for Personnel Action (RPAs) for the NEC.
Assists managers in utilizing appropriate personnel applications including DCPDS, Workforce Planning Tool, and AutoNOA to input all of their staffing actions, performance appraisals, performance awards, Position Description (PD) changes, and more.
Management Reporting: Creates, manages, and analyzes automated reporting systems and develops a variety of reports and briefings as necessary.
Acquisition Packages: Performs duties related to the acquisition of resources and services.
Requirements

- Three year trial/probationary period may be required.
- The incumbent of this position must qualify for and maintain a SECRET security clearance.
- 10% Travel may be required to attend training, conferences, and other mission requirements.
- Must possess a valid motor vehicle driver’s license.

Specialized experience would be demonstrated by: Utilizing an automated system to create a variety of reports to keep track of information to provide to management for decision making. Monitoring personnel actions using automated human resources programs such as EMPReS and DCPDS. AND Assists with maintaining the organizational manning document to aide managers in identifying vacancies and organizational needs.
