You will serve as a JOPES OPERATIONS MANAGER in the FUTURE OPERATIONS DIVISION of HEADQUARTERS US INDO-PACIFIC COMMAND.
Duties
You will supervise the employment of JOPES in support of Competition and Crisis Action Planning to enable timely and efficient deployment, employment, and redeployment of joint forces in support of military operations and exercises.
You will supervise the USINDOPACOM Strategic Deployment Center and its planning and execution of deployment operations for all US and selected allied forces in support of other Combatant Commands around the world.
You will perform administrative support activities to include development and processing of GS civilian and military evaluations, awards, and personnel management requirements.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Employing Joint Operation Planning and Execution System (JOPES) in support of Competition and Crisis Action Planning (CAP) to ensure the timely and efficient deployment, employment, and subsequent redeployment of joint forces for military operations and exercises; 2) Producing high level written products (Info Papers, White Papers, Operations Orders, Commander Estimates, etc.) for senior officials/leadership decision making in time constrained environments; 3) Applying knowledge of high level policy/strategy and operational planning experience; and 4) Leading the application of problem framing and planning processes (i.e. Operational Design, Joint Operations Planning Process, Military Decision Making Process) to solve complex strategic and operational level problems in a time constrained environment.
