This GROUP SUPERINTENDENT position, is located in an Air National Guard Wing, at the Group level under direct supervision of the group commander and is part of the CA 129 RQW. This position is concurrently announced with AGR A24-187. Only one of the announced positions will be filled. Referral and selection will be IAW CNG FPR 335.

Duties

THIS IS A T32 EXCEPTED SERVICE, INDEFINITE POSITION Selectee may be non-competitively converted to permanent status if/when funding becomes available or position becomes unencumbered. The primary purpose of the GROUP SUPERINTENDENT, GS-0301-11, is to serve as the principal advisor to the group commander for enlisted and other operational matters. The group superintendent provides leadership and management in organizing, training, and equipping assigned airmen (drill-status, Active Guard Reserve, Title 5 employees and Title 32 dual status technicians) in subordinate squadrons to support the Air and Space Expeditionary Forces construct.

GROUP SUPERINTENDENT, GS-0301-11: Must have at least one year of specialized experience, equivalent to at least the GS-09 level, or equivalent pay band in other pay systems in the Federal government. This experience may also have been obtained in the private sector, but must demonstrate that it is comparable to the GS grade indicated. Specialized experience may have been demonstrated by performing duties such as: Experience developing and recommending policy; organizing and carrying out specific programs, evaluating and recommending changes in methods of operations; Experience in supervisory, staff or technical work which included study, analysis or evaluation leading to the development or improvement of managerial or administrative policies, practices and procedures. Experience preparing written communications and oral presentations. Education

Substitution of Education for Specialized Experience: Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degreeor3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
