You will serve as a MAINTENANCE MECHANIC in the FACILITY SUSTAINMENT BRANCH of PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT NAV FACILITIES ENGINEERING COMMAND SE.

Duties
You will use hand tools, power tools, or stationary shop equipment to perform woodworking or carpentry work.
You will work on projects such as building frames, rafters, concrete forms, walls, staircases, door and window frames, interior and exterior trim, and other miscellaneous items.
You will construct or repair building structures (e.g., walls, roofs, floors, etc.) using wood, cement block, or metal.
You will mix stains, epoxies, enamels, varnish, shellacs, lacquers, plastic paints, bituminous paints, and other surface coating materials.
Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
- Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

- This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required.
