You will serve as a TRAINING ADMINISTRATOR in the TRAINING DIVISION, MILITARY TRAINING BRANCH of SOUTHWEST REGIONAL MAINTENANCE CENTER.
Duties
You will serve as the primary point of contact, administrator, and coordinator for military training processes and programs.
You will identify requirements for personnel, facilities and material as a basis for planning and budgeting for military training programs.
You will plan, develop, and/or provide guidance in the development of long range training plans and schedules.
You will conduct current and long range military training studies and prepare reports.
You will review all military training instruction and reports for adequacy, accuracy, completeness and integration of the latest technical and doctrinal advances.
You will recommend training instruction and course changes to ensure conformance to applicable format and regulatory standards and guidance.
You will track and report on mandatory training completion for the command utilizing training and personnel databases.
Requirements

- This is a bargaining unit position.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- This position requires work onboard ships.
Qualifications
GS-12: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: administering or overseeing military training processes and programs to ensure understanding of course objectives for efficient and effective training completion.
GS-11: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-9 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: conducting military training studies and preparing reports to collect metrics and results that may be used for program improvement.

Education
GS-11 ONLY:
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
Successful completion of a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree in Education or a subject area related to the position to be filled.
OR
Successful completion of three full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. or equivalent degree in Education or a subject area related to the position to be filled.
OR
Successful completion of a LL.M. degree that is related to the position being filled.
