Huntsville, AL: $128,086 - $194,307 (includes 21.48% locality)
Fort Worth, TX: $133,811 - $202,993 (includes 26.91% locality)
Duties
Plans, directs and evaluates all work in organization.
Identifies and resolves critical administrative or technical problems in vital functional areas (e.g., Contract Administration, Engineering, Quality Assurance etc) required to execute Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 42.302 responsibilities.
Resolves controversial issues involving such matters as contractor capability, production delays, pricing actions, economic problems, and adverse program trends.
Makes adjustments to accommodate changes in internal and acquisition program objectives.
Performs the full range of managerial personnel functions.

- Security Requirements: Non-Critical Sensitive with Secret Access.

Qualifications
To qualify for a Contract Management Deputy, your resume and supporting documentation must support:
A. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position and is directly in, or related to, this position. To qualify for the NH-04 level, specialized experience must be at the NH-03 or GS-13 grade level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military or private sector. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including time-after-competitive appointment, minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement. Creditable specialized experience includes:
Mastery of contract management principles, procedures, laws, and regulations
Advance level experience applying the principles of management to direct the operations of a large, complex organization
Analyzing organizational functions such as the planning and/or execution of assignments
Implementing and/or establishing new methods and procedures.
Applying DoD acquisition and life cycle management policies, procedures, and practices.
Education
Substitution of education may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level.
