Duties
Provide advice and insight about the probable effects of alternative solutions to supply chain problems. Preform live briefings of metrics and solutions to Senior Leaders.
Review studies performed by site or headquarters personnel and/or outside contractors for technical accuracy or applicability.
Plan, organize, coordinate, and direct participation on projects in connection with new software capabilities.
Provide program oversight to include project development and assignment, for emergent processes.
Ensure the appropriate level of coordination and integration with DLA HQ, DLA Land and Maritime Command, Business Process Analysts, Process Owners and Demand Supply Chain Analysts. Senior Leader engagement and Relationship building.
Coordinate a team approach of shared responsibilities and commitment to provide improved support to internal/external operations/processes.
Perform quantitative analysis of transaction data designs. Develops, and adapts mathematical, statistical, econometric, and other scientific methods and techniques to analyze management problems.
Review, prioritize, and coordinate work of other analysts. Responsibility for in-person training to raise skill levels across the team.

Qualifications
To qualify for a Lead Demand/Supply Chain Analyst your resume and supporting documentation must support:
A. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position and is directly in or related to this position. To qualify at the GS-13 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military, or private sector. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including time-in grade(General Schedule (GS) positions only), time-after-competitive appointment, minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement. Creditable specialized experience includes:
Utilizing advanced analytical software and/or programming languages for data mining, data cleansing, data manipulation, data analysis and data visualization.
Designing and evaluating demand/supply chain solutions for new and changing logistic processes.
Transforming data analysis findings into written reports and/or briefings for presentations to senior leadership and key stakeholders utilizing data visualization applications/tools (QLIK, PowerBI, Tableau etc.) to create charts and other information displays.
Training other teammates new skill sets.
Preparing of data analytics reporting that includes documentation of methodology, key findings and recommendations.
Applying and adapting analytical techniques and evaluation criteria to gather and evaluate information concerning complex process problems. To include recognizing data quality issues and identifying the source(s) of discrepancy and working collaboratively with key stakeholders on corrective actions.
Face to face communication for establishing and maintaining effective relationships with various (entities) to evaluate the overall health of the demand/supply chain.

Education
Substitution of education may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level.
