You will serve as an Administrative Specialist in the Business Analytics Office within the 1.0 Competency of NAVAL INFORMATION WARFARE SYSTEMS COMMAND.

Duties

You will oversee the management of Navy ERP business processes utilized throughout the NAVWAR Headquarters organization and associated Program Executive Office(PEO). You will oversee the operation of the Navy ERP super-user help desk. You will collect metrics detailing the nature of user issues, identify system deficiencies, coiled and analyze financial data, and address reporting queries using enterprise business systems and data analytics tools. You will provide advice and recommendations on strategic business initiatives, best business practices, efficiency gains and special study progress/outcomes. You will examine existing business processes and develop new/revised business practices to accommodate new requirements. You will research and respond to various Command wide fiscal management challenges and processes. You will provide oversight on Initiatives related to NAVWAR's Business Framework. Maintain configuration control of NAVWAR's End Item Products and Globa Work Breakdown Structure (GWBS) functional elements. You will represent NAVWAR In associated Navy level initiatives. You will oversee the BFM Community Learning and Development (L and D) Program, which Includes group mentoring, employee rotations, and training.

Requirements

  • This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
  • You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: overseeing the operation of business financial management business processes; providing advice and recommendations on strategic business initiatives; examining existing business processes and developing new/revised business practices; AND researching and responding to various Command wide fiscal management challenges and processes.
