This position is located in Division of Risk Management Supervisions (RMS), Capital Markets and Accounting Policy Branch, Exam Support Section and is performs a variety of complex qualitative, quantitative, and other analyses to identify, evaluate and support all pertinent matters relating to policy for capital markets risk, capital markets risk management techniques, the economic and regulatory capital requirements of financial institutions, interest rate risk, liquidity and funds management.

Qualifications
Qualifying experience may be obtained in the private or public sector. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g. Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic, religious spiritual; community; student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. To qualify for the CG-13, applicants must have completed at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the CG-12 grade level or above in the Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as:
Experience performing analysis of capital markets activities of financial institutions to identify risks to institutions; presents findings from financial institution research; and assists with program enhancement related to regulatory capital, liquidity, interest rate risk, or other capital markets risks.
To qualify for the CG-14, applicants must have completed at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the CG-13 grade level or above in the Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as:
Experience performing analysis to identify capital markets risk or economic and regulatory capital requirements of financial institutions; presents findings from financial institution research; and develops policies or programs related to regulatory capital, liquidity, interest rate risk, or other capital markets risks.
