Duties
Administrative support officer and logistics support analyst for Headquarters, DLA – U.S. Central and Special Operations Commands (USCENTCOM).
Assists DLA Support Teams and DLA personnel locally or those operating within the U.S. Central Command.
Reports to Headquarters, DLA and the Joint Agency Synchronization and Operations Center meetings and conferences on Force Provider matters as a representative of the DLA U.S. Central and Special Operations Command.
Responsible for reporting on the accountability of DLA U.S. Central and Special Operations Command personnel located both within and outside the Continental United States.
Executes staff action items, major projects, and oversees the evaluation and award processing for military and civilian personnel.
Coordinates travel itineraries and training for DLA Support Team Commanders, Operation Officers, and personnel.
Oversees the organization’s Government Purchase Travel Card and office supply processes.
Serves as an alternate timekeeper for the time and attendance of civilian employee records for management certification.

Qualifications
To qualify for a Staff Support Analyst, your resume and supporting documentation must support:
A. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position and is directly in or related to this position. To qualify at the GS-12 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military, or private sector. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including time-in-grade (General Schedule (GS) positions only), time-after-competitive appointment, minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement. Creditable specialized experience includes:
Comprehensive understanding of military logistics, contingency operations, and organizational structure and mission responsibilities.
Understanding of Geographic Combatant Command (GCC) missions, organizational structure, joint concepts and processes.
Possesses knowledge of DoD personnel and physical security requirements, manpower management and administration and regulatory guidance.
Leads the coordination and tracking across multi-functional teams of memos, directives, and civilian/military awards in coordination with regulatory guidance.
Conducts studies and presents conclusions and recommendations to senior leadership.

Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.

Substitution of education may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level.
