This announcement will be used to fill positions with an entry grade of GS-11, or GS-12 with a target grade of GS-12. The minimum salary for grade GS-11 is $73,218, the maximum salary is $95,181. The minimum salary for grade GS-12 is $87,758, the maximum salary is $114,082.
Duties
Monitors status of tasks and projects to measure progress, to ensure completion by suspense date, and to identify variances effecting the successful completion.
Serves as a focal point for all inquiries and administrative problems brought to the Agency Director.
Independently reviews all actions and correspondence prepared by others for consistency with the Director's policies and personal views, as well as content, correct grammar, spelling, capitalization, punctuation, and appropriate format.
Manages small projects from initiation through completion. Supports the planning and execution of conferences, meetings, organization-wide training events and off-site events.
The major duties described above reflect the full performance level of this position (GS-12).

Qualifications
One year of specialized experience equivalent in level of difficulty and responsibility to that of the next lower grade within the federal service, which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position, is required.
GS 11 - One year of specialized experience equivalent in level of difficulty and responsibility to that of the next lower grade (GS-09) within the federal service, which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position, is required.
Specialized Experience is defined as: completing administrative activities that may include scheduling, monitoring tasks or supporting small projects; providing correspondence support to internal or external customers on policy or administrative procedures.
GS 12 - One year of specialized experience equivalent in level of difficulty and responsibility to that of the next lower grade (GS-11) within the federal service, which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position, is require.
Specialized Experience is defined as: applying administrative and policy experience to coordinate tasks or projects between multiple stakeholders; reviewing, editing, and submitting correspondence at the executive level.
Time-in-Grade: Current or former federal employees who have held a GS position in the preceding 52 weeks, must meet the time in grade requirement.
To be considered for a GS 11, applicant must have served 52 weeks as a GS-09 or higher grade in Federal Service.
To be considered for a GS 12, applicant must have served 52 weeks as a GS-11 or higher grade in Federal Service.
You may qualify for consideration if meeting time-in grade, specialized experience, education requirement, 90 days after competitive appointment requirement, and all other qualification requirements within 30 calendar days after the closing date of the announcement, unless otherwise indicated on the announcement.
Education
GS-11 Substitution of Education for Experience: Three full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree may be substituted to meet the specialized experience requirement. Equivalent combinations of successfully completed higher-level graduate level education and experience may be used to meet total experience requirements.
