About the Position: The incumbent provides the Primary Administrative Support for the Office of the President and University Operations performing a variety of administrative duties to relieve University leadership and other Staff of many administrative, coordination, staffing, and office management details. Contributes to the Army Sustainment University's (ASU) public relations with a very wide circle of high-level military and civilian government relations.
Duties
Manage wide variety of administrative programs necessary for day-to-day operation.
Prepare for meetings such as, making reservations for meeting rooms, notifying all participants, and ensuring that presentations have been properly prepared.
Ensure timecard discrepancies are researched and/or corrected as necessary.
Ensure timecards are submitted on every employee within established deadlines.
Ensure travel arrangement for staff members have been coordinated as necessary.
Perform clerical duties such as typing material from rough drafts, general information, or oral instructions.
Maintain records such as budget, personnel, office supplies and/or equipment.
Perform clerical duties such as create, copy, edit, store, retrieve, and print documents using automation system.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes performing administrative/clerical duties to include receiving telephone calls and/or visitors; preparing correspondence such as diplomas/certificates, rosters or reports; preparing travel orders/vouchers and/or making travel arrangements; maintaining organization calendar and scheduling meetings; utilizing office automation to review and edit correspondence; and providing technical assistance to other organization. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-07).
