As an Supervisory Management and Program Analyst, you will supervise and direct a professional staff responsible for research, analysis, and developing recommendations in all areas of SER Operations and Operations Support for the Regional Director via a Supervisory Program Manager..
Duties
Coordinates the work of subordinate staff focused on delivering fully analyzed data products to complete the Agency’s mission.
Responsible for providing day-to-day supervision and overall direction to subordinates who are responsible for providing analytical research and analysis related to immigration files, the data they contain, and the integrity of this information.
Directs the data analytics team that performs professional, technical, and administrative work in critical program segments having a significant impact on a substantial part of the Region and facilitating the Region’s primary mission.
Responsible for the development, justification, administration, and resolution of significant issues relating to the respective program elements and sharing of immigration information.
Employs extensive knowledge of immigration systems, adjudication programs, and technical or evaluation methods to administer or improve strategic and operational goals.
Responsible for designing, developing, and directing programs and projects which require in-depth analysis, problem solving, conceptualizing, planning, and management of crosscutting disciplines to support the strategic direction of the Region.
Assigns work based on priorities, selective consideration of the difficulty, and requirements of the assignments and capabilities of employees.

Qualifications
The qualifications for this position must be met by 11:59 PM (Eastern Time) on 08/15/2024.
Current Federal employees must have served 52 weeks at the lower grade or equivalent grade band in the Federal service. The Time-in-Grade requirement must be met by 11:59 PM (Eastern Time) on 08/15/2024.
GS-14: You qualify at the GS-14 level if you possess one (1) year of specialized experience, which is equivalent to at least the GS-13 level in the federal government, that equipped you with the skills needed to successfully perform the duties of the position. You must have experience performing the following duties:
Serving as manager for a professional team working on analytics matters pertaining to the program;
Developing all required program documentation and briefings, in order to ensure all program requirements and milestones are coordinated with program leadership;
Directing the development of comprehensive program plans to ensure that all recommendations are fully integrated with the overall program team effort;
Applying the tools and techniques of data analytics and operations research in addressing program problems and issues.
