You will serve as a SUPV MISSION SUPPORT SPECIALIST in the OPERATIONS & PLAN DEPARTMENT of COMNAVSPECWARDEVGRU.

Duties

You will serve as the principal advisor to the N3X Division Officer, the Operations Director, and the Naval Special Warfare Development Group (NSWDG) Commander for all operational analysis mission support program requirements and policies. You will assess division strengths and weaknesses, and demonstrates leadership in exploring alternatives and determining work method, process, or procedure improvements. You will plan work to be accomplished by subordinates, sets and adjust short-term priorities, prepare schedule for completion of work, and track progress. You will coordinate daily with senior leadership of other agencies to evaluate and implement command support programs to successfully respond to a highly dynamic operational environment. You will evaluate tactics, techniques, and procedures in support of the operations analysis program.

  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • MSP/PPP applicants must currently hold the required security clearance.
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
  • You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
  • Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: performing operational support and signature reduction program management including extensive planning, proposal writing, and interagency coordination, in order to prepare recommendations for changing programs to bring them into policy compliance and ensure mission success.
