Job opening: MISSION SUPPORT SPECIALIST

You will serve as a MISSION SUPPORT SPECIALIST in the OPERATIONS DIRECTORATE (N3) of COMNAVSPECWARDEVGRU.

Duties

You will conduct post-mission survey debriefs to support intelligence, counterintelligence, and other command functions that correlate to the core capabilities of OS, OPSEC, and SRA. You will coordinate multiple projects, balance priorities, set short-term and long-term goals, make decisions regarding OS, OPSEC, and SRA methodologies. You will manage daily taskers, and support multiple projects across the Operational Analysis Division. You will maintain accountability of all assigned projects, and briefs supervisory leadership as required. You will serve as an OS, OPSEC, and Signature Management specialist to contracting officer representatives (CORs), and assist with drafting and concurrence of all SOWs, PWs, and other documents in support of unclassified and classified activities.

  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • MSP/PPP applicants must currently hold the required security clearance.
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
  • You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

GS-11:Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: planning, or writing proposals for interagency coordination, personal information management and administrative services to support a command; and coordinating, balancing, or leading multiple projects, priorities to set short-term and long-term goals. GS-09:Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: assisting with planning, or writing proposals for interagency coordination, personal information management and administrative services to support a command; and assisting in the coordinating, balancing, or leading of multiple projects, priorities to set short-term and long-term goals. GS-11:

Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree

3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree

Master's or equivalent graduate degree

or

2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree

or

LL.B. or J.D., if related
