You will serve as a Program Analyst in the Business Management and Analysis branch (SI-B1) at the Kennedy Space Center responsible for the planning, analyzing, and administration of budget and financial requirements.
Duties
Duties described below are at the highest grade advertised. Duties assigned at lower grade levels will be of more limited scope, performed with less independence and limited complexity; duties will be commensurate with the grade of selected employee.
Identifies process improvements and utilizes tools, such as Power Bi, Excel, and SharePoint, for creating, maintaining, and manipulating data in a variety of formats for analysis and evaluation.
Identifies areas of improvement, analyzing data, and developing strategies to enhance operational performance across various departments.
Leads in developing data collection, quantitative and qualitative analysis, dashboard and data visualization, report and briefing development, and identification of potential solutions and briefing management.
Collaborates with stakeholders and technical points of contact, and supports development of Programming, Planning, and Budget Execution (PPBE) products and analysis, and prepares and presents briefings to management.
Collaborates with stakeholders and supports development of annual phasing plans and monitors budget expenditures or schedule performance to identify potential problem areas and reports to management regularly.
Assists management in interpretation and utilization of reports and information provided. Develops various visual media to present trends, performance status, and related management information.

Qualifications
Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work.
To qualify for GS-09 level, you must have:
a) One year of directly related specialized experience equivalent to the GS-07 level:
Assisting with the assessment of financial data and reports;
Participating in the preparation of monthly status reports; and
Gathering and consolidating information on budget regulations.
OR
b) Completed all requirements for a master's or equivalent graduate degree in an appropriate field
OR
c) Completed 2 full academic years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to a master's degree or equivalent graduate degree in an appropriate field
OR
d) LL. B or J.D, if related
OR
e) Have an equivalent combination of experience and graduate study as discussed in a), b), c) and d) above
To qualify for GS-11, you must have:
a) One year of directly related specialized experience equivalent to the GS-09 level:
Assessing financial data and reports in a variety of formats;
Assisting with the preparation of monthly status data reports to ensure that budget expenditures are accurate and allowable; and
Gathering and consolidating information from multiple sources to inform budget submissions.
OR
b) Completed all requirements for a doctoral degree (i.e., Ph.D. or equivalent) in an appropriate field
OR
c) Completed 3 full academic years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. degree or equivalent doctoral degree in an appropriate field
OR
d) LL.M., if related
OR
e) Have an equivalent combination of experience and graduate study as discussed in a), b), c) and d) above
To qualify for GS-12, you must have one year of directly related specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level:
Utilizing tools for the creation of financial data reports for data assessment;
Preparing monthly status data reports to ensure that budget expenditures are accurate and allowable based upon the phasing plan; and
Consolidating data gathered from multiple sources, integrating and presenting that data to inform budget submissions.
