Serves as the Cost Control and Integration manager in the Program Planning and Control Division within the Exploration Ground Systems (EGS) Program at KSC. This role will be matrixed to the Business Management & Analysis Branch. Responsible for seeking alternate, more affordable ways of conducting business, managing the development and integration of products, processes and tools that enable effective project planning, analysis, and management oversight of the EGS Program budget.
Duties
Creates and maintains a cost-conscious culture and implements an affordability strategy for the EGS Program.
Serves as senior organizational expert on budgeting, financial management, and cost reduction efforts.
Provides leadership, expertise, and coordination to ensure effective and efficient integration of cross-program business approaches, processes, and products.
Provides strategic planning and oversight in the areas of affordability, business management, resources planning, schedule, and budget integration, with emphasis on ensuring products across those areas are integrated and responsive to controlling EGS
Supervises and manages the development of products, processes and tools that enable effective cost control, analysis, and management oversight of the
Exploration Ground Systems (EGS) Program budget.
Integrates overall resource requirements for the Program ensuring resource allocations are right sized to enable mission success while also remaining with cost
control funding parameters.
Performs evaluation of program and project plans to ensure cost, schedule, and technical integration, as well as balancing risk to ensure resource allocations align
with programmatic priorities.

Qualifications
Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work.
GS-15: To qualify at the GS-15 level, you must have one year of directly related specialized experience equivalent to the GS-14 level:
Reviewing, analyzing, and providing information from multiple sources, such as financial reports and contract
deliverables;
Communicating issues, justifying conclusions reached, and recommending courses of action;
Integrating budget, schedule, and risk to perform formal and informal briefings and presentations to high-level management.
