You will serve as a TECHNICIAN in the FLEET READINESS DIVISION, FLEET READINESS PORTFOLIO DEPARTMENT of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER.
Duties
You will serve as an advocate for assigned units within NSWC PHD and track and report on equipment status, operational mission, and logistics status.
You will ensure Ship Liasons maintain contact with assigned units and serve as a conduit for any technical or logistical requests made by Ships Force.
You will facilitate Combat System technical resolution/initial technical triage of problems from operational ships and missiles.
You will formulate approaches and proposals to all program tasks and negotiate and discuss both technical and budget program plans.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-04 pay band (GS 11/12 grade level equivalency) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: managing electrical engineering test events and resources to evaluate system readiness or resolve issues impacting the installation or modernization of shipboard combat systems.
