Serves as a Senior Program Analyst for Army Reserve Installation Management Directorate (ARIMD), Sustainment and Resiliency Division at the Office of the Chief, Army Reserve, Fort Belvoir, VA.

Duties
Determine distribution of sustainment funding to Army Reserve Installations, Readiness Divisions and the US Army Reserve (USAR) centrally managed National Roofing Program (NRP) and Builder Inspection Program.
Provide advice to staff regarding the management of contracts.
Analyze new and proposed legislation and regulations to determine program requirements and impact and writes policy impacting Army Reserve facilities.
Serve as the Army Reserve Point of Contact for Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD) Facility Sustainment Model which determines the Army Reserve’s Sustainment requirements.
Responsible for overseeing all Program Objective Memorandum (POM) activities to include briefing and presenting justification materials to chain of command.
Review and respond as necessary to Program Decision Memorandums and Program Budget Decisions.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience at the senior command-level which includes planning, programming, budgeting, and execution of resources allotted; analyzing installation status report data; recommending an approved, disapproved or modified budget request with justification; validating and defending command-level requirements, identifying and recommending solutions to systemic issues and advising on effectiveness and efficiency of cost management programs. Additional specialized experience in writing and implementing policy guidance for a command organization, preparing documents and presentations for senior command-level leadership, and influencing guidance and policy decisions at a higher headquarters. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service GS-13.
