About the Position: This position serves as the Management and Program Analyst for the Directorate of Public Works. The incumbent advises the Directorate staff on all administrative functions for the office/Directorate.
Moving expenses are NOT authorized, based on a determination that a move is not in the Government's interest.
Duties
As a Management and Program Analyst, you will perform the following duties:
Provide guidance and support to personnel in administrative and operational areas.
Resolve schedule conflicts by coordinating with involved parties.
Coordinate deadlines by analyzing tasks from higher headquarters.
Monitor programs and/or projects to ensure goals are met.
Communicate with personnel to ensure travel authorizations are accurate prior to their travel.
Notify appropriate personnel on required attendance for meetings.
Prepare and/or maintain Directorate functional files per the Army Records Information Management System (ARIMS).
Maintain supply levels to meet organizational needs.
Maintain Time and Attendance records utilizing the Automated Time Attendance and Productions Systems (ATAAPS).
Requirements
- This position requires the incumbent to be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.
- This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 10% of the time.

In order to qualify, you must meet the requirements described below. Specialized Experience Required: To qualify based on your work experience, your resume must describe at least one year of specialized experience which prepared you to do the work required in this job. Specialized experience is defined as experience which includes coordinating organizational administrative operations and/or functions (i.e. meetings, conferences, travel arrangements, etc.); and, identifying and resolving routine customer problems. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-07) or equivalent.

Education: Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position.
OR
Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the first year (total graduate semester hours minus 18) by 18. Add the two percentages.

Time in Grade Requirement for GS 09: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-07).
