About the Position: This is a Department of Army Civilian position with the 75th Innovation Command, Command Group located in Houston, TX.
Duties
Train and facilitate the use of collaborative tools and data systems to complete work.
Monitor project progress to ensure goals and objectives are met.
Educate leadership and employees on the benefits of Knowledge Management while providing technical guidance.
Develop Major Subordinate Command level policy governing the implementation of Knowledge Management initiatives.
Conduct presentations at the Major Subordinate Command level during conferences to demonstrate goals and objectives at the senior level.
Serve as representative at internal/external meetings for the Major Subordinate Command.
Monitor command operations execution while identifying potential problem areas and shortfalls.
Provide assistance to the Major Subordinate Command’s leadership in developing Knowledge Management strategies to achieve organizational goals.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes 1) Develop and implement policy and program guidance governing the implementation of Knowledge Management initiatives at the command; 2) Translate operational and policy objectives established by the Knowledge Management Director into established knowledge management tasks in support of those objectives; 3) Serve as the SharePoint Portal Administrator for the command; 4) Provide technical subject matter expertise on Knowledge Management to Command; 5) Serve as a trainer for collaborative tools and services to personnel. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).
