About the Position: The overall mission of Manpower and Force Analysis Directorate (MFAD) is to provide the Training and Doctrine Command (USAREC) Commanding General with overall management of the command manpower (military and civilian) program. The incumbent will serve as a senior management analyst, responsible for the evaluation and execution of the US Army Recruiting Command's military and civilian manpower program.
Duties
Analyze the Table and Distribution of Allowance (TDA) for multiple activities to ensure compliance with established directives.
Utilize data from information systems to justify manpower decisions.
Continuously keep automated systems up to date to maintain accurate status of manpower program information.
Use expert analytical techniques to ensure the effective execution of the military and civilian manpower program.
Represent assigned command at formal briefings concerning manpower issues.
Maintain oversight of subordinate staff to create cohesion in program development.
Develop corrective action plans based on principles of Planning, Programming, Budgeting and Execution System (PPBES).
Review historical and current manpower data to create resource allocation strategies.
Requirements
- TDY travel may be required up to 25% of the time.
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes conducting workforce data collection and/or analysis; advising decision makers of workforce management outcomes and/or predictions; maintaining manpower or personnel automated systems; ensuring workforce program complies with current regulations . This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).
