Duties
You will serve as the designated point of contact for management and oversight of planning, executing, and reporting on logistical support contract requirements.
You will provide guidance to the Director and Deputy Director, unit level commanders, managers, and supervisors in facilitating, staffing, and coordinating contract requirements for submission to LOGCOM Contractors Office.
You will conduct complex analysis and provides objective recommendations for decision-making on management, administration, and oversight of contract requirements.
You will contract Logistics Support, Requirements Development and Contract Management Support.
You will be responsible for the technical writing and oversight of logistics contract support requirements in support of the mission of Marine Force Storage Command.
You will perform reviews and analysis of policy, regulations, and guidance applicable to administrative programs.
You will manage Internal Controls Program (MJCP) Coordinator responsible for developing, implementing and executing the MJCP.
You will ensure consistent implementation of an effective Marine Corps Information Requirements (Reports) Management Program.
Requirements

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
- You may be required to travel to hostile environments.
- You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.
Qualifications
GS-11:
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: must have a background and/or education/training in contracting including Contract officer, COR, or COTR; Ability to review, interpret, develop and produce Performance Work Statements, Quality Assurance Surveillance Plans (QASP), Determination & Findings (D&F) and Justification & Approval (J&A); Knowledge of the various surveillance types used to assess contractor performance and provide a comprehensive report outlining strengths and weaknesses with recommended solutions for corrective action; Knowledge of the various systems and applications used when performing COR functions (SPOT, CORT, CPARS, WAWF) and Knowledge of appropriation laws to ensure compliance with financial regulations.
GS-09:
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: have a background and/or education/training in contracting; Ability to conduct analytical studies using a wide range of qualitative and quantitative methods for the assessment and improvement of business processes; Ability to recognize and analyze problems, conduct research, summarize results and make actionable recommendations; Ability to developed and present oral and/or written reports, papers, and briefings as necessary that support mission requirements.

Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
GS-11:
Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree
or
3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
or
LL.M., if related
GS-09:
master's or equivalent graduate degree
or
2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
or
LL.B. or J.D., if related
