You will serve as a ACQUSITION SUPPORT ANALYST in the MARINE CORPS LOGISITICS COMMAND of MARINE CORPS LOGISTICS COMMAND.

Duties

You will recommend evaluation criteria and provides constructive analytical comments for annual contract evaluations. You will oversee contracts by monitoring the performance of the contractor with respect to progress and delivery. You will perform reviews and analysis of policy, regulations, and guidance applicable to administrative programs. You will determine whether contractor performed work meets standards of adequacy necessary for authorization of payment.

  • This is a bargaining unit position.
  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
  • This is a Mission Essential position. You will be required to ensure organization or facility continuity of operations and/or completion of tasks that are considered essential to the mission designated by a local or command decision.
  • You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Performing acquisition planning by the performing and/or assuring that effective planning is accomplished to meet program needs. 2) Disseminating guidance on business and procurement techniques. 3) Preparing or managing annual contract plans and schedules for assigned IT acquisitions. 4) Reviewing procurements to determine overall program effectiveness and compliance with policies.
