Duties
As a IT CYBERSECURITY SPECIALIST (INFOSEC) at the GS-2210-13/14 some of your typical work assignments may include:
This position will support the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA), Nuclear Enterprise Nuclear Logistics Operations Department (NLO), Nuclear Enterprise Directorate (NE).
The Incumbent will serve as Lead Information System Security Manager (ISSM) and information security subject matter expert supporting the Defense Stockpile Management System (DSMS).
The incumbent will manage, lead, and support a team of Government and Military personnel performing as Information System Security Officers (ISSOs).
The incumbent functional responsibilities will include information system security management, security policy development and enforcement, and security compliance activities necessary to meet nuclear logistics DSMS system authorization to operate and all other DoD security requirements.
The incumbent daily tasks include security management, reviewing system security design and test results, scheduling work packages, resource allocations, and keeping leadership and management informed, as necessary.
The incumbent serving in this key role will enforce cyber security policy and ensure cyber security compliance across the DSMS program.

- This is a drug testing designated position. Subject to pre-employment drug testing and periodic drug testing thereafter.

- Work may require travel away from the normal duty station and on military or commercial aircraft – 20% CONUS/OCONUS
- Shift work and on-call duty is required to meet Agency operational support requirements to the warfighter during contingency and exercise operations that may include weekends and holidays as required
- Must be able to obtain/maintain a valid passport
- Must obtain and/or hold an Information Assurance Manager (IAM) Level III certification within six (6) months of being assigned IA functions beginning the date incumbent starts in the position
Qualifications
You may qualify at the GS-13, if you fulfill the following qualifications:
One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service:
Experience demonstrating comprehensive knowledge of federal guidelines covering information assurance, information system security requirement such as FISMA, DIACAP, NIST SP 800, OMB A-130 etc. to assess and make security risk assessment, and;
Experience in applying project management principles, methods, and practices, including developing plans and schedules, estimating resource requirements, defining milestones and deliverables, monitoring activities, and evaluating and reporting on accomplishments sufficient to ensure the integration of IT programs and services, and;
Experience providing expert technical advice, guidance, and recommendations to management and other technical specialists on critical IT issues; and making decisions or recommendations that significantly influence important agency IT policies or programs, and;
Experience in applying interrelationships of multiple IA disciplines; Certification and Accreditation; business requirements of customer organizations; the information technology systems security principles, concepts, and methods in the DSMS enterprise IT architecture. (Experience must be clearly demonstrated in your resume).
You may qualify at the GS-14, if you fulfill the following qualifications:
One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service:
