Duties
This position is located in the Office of the Assistant
Chief of Police for Uniformed Operations, Uniformed Services Bureau, Capitol
Division. The purpose of this position is to plan and carry out work projects
in various administrative areas such as budgeting and financial administration,
program and policy advice and guidance, records and forms management, as well
as human resource management principles.
Qualifications
In order to qualify, you must meet the education and/or experience requirements described below.At
least one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the CP-06/GS-08 grade level which is in or directly related to the line of work of the
position to be filled. Specialized experience is
defined as experience which includes: (1) Developing and implementing procedures to maintain the quality of technical support services and administrative support for program initiatives. (2) Developing budget estimates and justifications; tracking expenditures and ensuring that funds are used in accordance with the operating budget. (3) Conducting and applying analytical and evaluative methods to improve administrative efficiency and effectiveness. (4) Creating and supporting project goals that promote productivity throughout the team.ORHave completed a Master's or equivalent graduate
degree, or two (2) full years of progressively higher level graduate education
leading to such a degree or an LL.B. or J.D., if related.ORHave a combination of education and specialized experience which when computed must equal at least 100% of the

Education
The experience requirement for this position may be met with the following education substitution:
Master's or equivalent graduate degree; OR two (2) full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree; OR LL.B. or J.D., if related. OR a combination of the specialized experience and educational substitution that totals at least 100% of the qualification requirement.
