You will serve as a Supervisory Military Equal Opportunity Advisor in the United States Marine Corps of MARFORRES NOLA.
Duties
You will perform the full range of administrative and technical supervisory duties including work planning, assignments, training, discipline and leave for at least two supervisory employees.
You will provide advice on the use of the Military Equal Opportunity(MEO) complaint process to report, resolve, and dispose of complaints alleging prohibited activities and conduct.
You will develop and maintain effective relationships to promote awareness of MEO programs, command policies, goals, and objectives.
You will oversee implementation and execution of advocacy services for personnel within the are of responsibility.
You will serve as the principal Military Equal Opportunity (MEO) Program advisor to the commander and senior leaders within the command.
You will provide advice on the use of the MEO complaint process to report, resolve, and dispose of complaints alleging prohibited activities and conduct.
You will develop multi-year and long-range work plans for the AOR. Subsequently manages the overall Command AOR MEO Program to enhance achievement of command’s goals and objectives.
You will partner effectively with EEO, MEO Command Managers, and HQMC to support compliance and representation issues.

- Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time
- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
- Position is eligible for situational telework.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: serving as a principal Military Equal Employment Opportunity advisor to senior leaders specializing in providing advice and guidance on matters related to Military Equal Opportunity and Prohibited Activities and Conduct (PAC) by developing, implementing and monitoring policies for the command; Tracks, monitors, and reports disposition and status of prohibited activities and conduct (PAC) complaints.
