Duties
Incumbent is required to brief Command DHs, Directors, Executive Steering Committee (ESC), Executive Officer, and Commanding Officer.
Responsible for the accuracy and integrity of the Commands financial and workload data from multiple workload computer systems used to determine Command resources from higher authority.
Analyze, verify accuracy, and initiate corrective action for workload and costing data within higher authority-maintained systems.
Have a thorough understanding of Enrollment-Based Capitation (EBC) and factors affecting price adjustments such as workload trends, fixed and variable costs, and interrelationship of data.
Report the results of operations to responsible levels of the MTF and higher authority.
Responsible for overall operations of the department and for the full range of technical and administrative supervision for department employees (Management and Health Systems Analysts).
Develop guidance and criteria for the collection and coordination of financial and statistical data and provides statistical presentations to Command management at all organizational levels.

- This position is supervisory as defined by the Office of Personnel Management's (OPM) General Schedule Supervisory Guide (GSSG). A one year probation to assess your ability to perform supervisory duties is required unless previously completed.
- This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 10% of the time.
- This position has a mandatory seasonal influenza vaccination requirement and is subject to annual vaccination.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service which includes planning, scheduling, and carrying out major and complex projects concerned with the analysis and evaluation of programs or organizational effectiveness, providing supervision, leadership, and direction to employees; to include providing upper management with unbiased information for making decisions on the administrative and programmatic aspects of the Commands operations and management. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).
