This position is located in the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), United States Coast Guard (USCG), Deputy Commandant for Mission Support Commandant (CG-6) C5I Service Center (C5ISC), Infrastructure Services Division (ISD), Technical Services Branch (TSB), Deployed Connectivity Section (DCS) in Alexandria, VA.
Duties
You will serve as an Information Technology (IT) Cybersecurity Specialist in the USCG within the C5I Service Center (C5ISC), responsible for planning, analysis, and enhancement of information systems, policies, and procedures supporting the Technical Services Branch in Alexandria, VA.

Qualifications
To qualify for the GS-13 level, applicants should have at least one (1) year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 level in the Federal service. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work. The applicant must meet ALL of the conditions below.
Working with IT infrastructure projects, providing advice on costs, design concepts and/or design changes.
Working with customers, stakeholders, sponsors, and other IT service providers to elicit requirements, resources and prioritization.
Participating in collaborative IT teams in a matrixed environment and integrated product teams focused on organizational strategic issues and initiatives.
Preparing and presenting IT project briefs, technical proposals to supervisors & Senior Leaders.
In addition to meeting the specialized experience requirement, you must also have IT-related experience demonstrating each of the four competencies listed below.
