Position is the USMC Enterprise Architect for PEO Digital and Enterprise Services.
Duties
You will serve as a technical authoritative expert and represent the program Management Office (PMO) lead engineer.
You will represent work of significant scope and complexity that demands subject matter expertise and high level interface within outside organizations.
You will assist the Program Management Office (PMO) lead engineer with the management and development of a responsive and highly professional technical workforce.
You will develop reference models of the enterprise and maintain the information in the IT repository.
You will identify opportunities to improve enterprise-level systems to support business processes and utilize emerging technologies.
You will document the enterprise architecture infrastructure, including the business units and key processes, using modeling techniques.
You will ensure rigorous application of information security/information assurance policies, principles, and practices to all components of the enterprise architecture.
You will incorporate existing technology roadmaps into diagrams and architecture as appropriate.
You will provide input, guidance, support and coordination to customers and IT project teams in support of technology roadmaps.
You will identify opportunities to conduct technology pilots and assessments in support of existing road mapped capabilities.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
- This is a Cyberspace Workforce position, work role code 641 Systems Requirements Planner, proficiency level Intermediate. The incumbent is required to obtain and maintain qualifications in DoDM 8140.03.
- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
Qualifications
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or NH-03 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Coordinating the efforts of Information Technology (IT) technical area experts; providing enterprise architecture support to customers and IT project teams; ensuring application of information security/information assurance policies, principles, and practices; recommending new equipment, configurations, system enhancements, or technological changes to improve system cost effectiveness and/or user productivity; AND participating in test planning, validation, and reviews.
