About the Position: This position is located in the U.S. Training and Doctrine Command, Fort Leonard Wood, MO.
Fort Leonard Wood is located in the beautiful South-Central Missouri Ozarks. The Fort covers more than 61,000 acres and is located in Pulaski County, bordering Waynesville/St. Robert and Interstate 44. St. Louis is a 2-hour drive east and Springfield is a 1-hour drive west of Fort Leonard Wood.
Duties
As an analyst in the Academic Records Section in the Registrar Branch, G-3, Directorate of Training, Maneuver Support Center of Excellence (MSCoE), plans, coordinates.
Responsible for providing technical and administrative training and guidance to subordinate organizations and MSCoE personnel.
Ensures personnel proves academic records uniformly IAW applicable regulation and policies.
Analyzes and evaluates programs to organize workload for accuracy and timeliness.
Personally performs a variety of responsible functions involving the processing and maintenance of student academic records and files.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position requires that the employee occasionally travel away from the normal duty station up to 10% of the time.

Specialized Experience which includes plans, coordinates, and personally performs a variety of responsible functions involving the processing and maintenance of student academic records and files. Responsible for providing technical and administrative training and guidance to subordinate organizations and MSCoE personnel. Ensures personnel proves academic records uniformly IAW applicable regulation and policies. Analyzes and evaluates programs to organize workload for accuracy and timeliness. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-07).

Education: Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position.
OR
Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the first year (total graduate semester hours minus 18) by 18. Add the two percentages.

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-07).
