About the Position: This position is located within the US Army Aviation and Missile Command, G8 (Resource Management), Redstone Arsenal, AL.
Duties
As Staff Advisor, responsible for civilian and military manpower authorization, utilization, and requirements; manpower programming, planning, and budgeting; organizational analysis; mission evaluation and assignment for organizational elements.
Establish and issue military and civilian personnel authorizations. Continually reviews and evaluates manpower requirements against available resources to ensure a balance in the availability of spaces to accomplish assigned missions

Plan, develop, and conduct research in an organization, i.e., organizational structure mission responsibilities, controls, operating practices, work processes, etc.
Review, analyze, and recommend changes to the organization’s policies, regulations, and memoranda on various manpower related actions and correspondence in order to explain guidance provided by higher headquarters
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
- This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 10% of the time.
