You will serve as a MANAGEMENT ANALYST (OA) in the Human Resources Department of NMRTC QUANTICO VA.

Duties

You will provide primary staff support to the members or Naval Health Clinic Quantico and outlying clinic. You will serve as local point of contact for the Civilian Personnel Program, Civilian Awards Program, and for correspondence management and provide direct coordination and is responsible for the administrations of these programs. You will exercise continuous attention to coordinating among internal and external work units to ensure optimum customer service is maintained. You will perform administrative and technical duties supporting the organization utilizing a system of formal internal procedures and administrative controls to a staff of officers, enlisted and civilian personnel.

Requirements

  • Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • This position is eligible for part time, substantial or ad-hoc telework at the discretion of management.
  • In accordance with BUMED INST 6220.9B, this position has a mandatory seasonal influenza vaccination requirement and is therefore subject to annual seasonal influenza vaccinations and a signed (Condition of employment) consenting to such.
  • This position requires the ability to type at least 40 words per minute. Your response to the typing skill question on the Occupational Questionnaire will be used in your qualification determination.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience analyzing organizational structures, staffing, administration procedures and workload distribution to manage manning levels for personnel operations. Experience utilizing automated manpower and personnel systems to analyze and evaluate manning information and data files for position management review. Experience evaluating reports and studies of work processes in order to identify, analyze, and recommend solutions for manpower and personnel program improvements. Education

In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:

master's or equivalent graduate degree

or

2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree

or

LL.B. or J.D., if related
