You will serve as a PROGRAM MANAGER in the BUSINESS OPERATIONS OFFICE of NAVAIRWARCENWPNDIV POINT MUGU.
Duties
You will serve as a recognized technical expert and advisor to the Major Range Test Facility Base (MRTFB) Program Managers and senior Navy Leadership.
You will participate in the development and justification of long-range resource investment plans for the Navy, NAVAIR and the NAWCWD.
You will analyze test and evaluation requirements and make recommendations relative to planning, development, and procurement of facilities and equipment.
You will extend and modify existing techniques and develop new approaches used by other professionals.
Requirements

- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the DA-05 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate duties related to the following: 1) Planning, directing, and evaluating acquisition, management, technical development, and financial control for a training systems program in terms of risk, performance, schedule and cost; 2) Making recommendations relative to planning, development, and procurement of facilities and equipment; 3) Preparing all planning documents associated with program organization, product development and material acquisition including budgets, schedules, reports, and associated records

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the DA-04 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate duties related to the following: 1) Assisting in planning, directing, and evaluating acquisition, management, technical development, and financial control for a training systems program in terms of risk, performance, schedule and cost; 2) Assisting in making recommendations relative to planning, development, and procurement of facilities and equipment; 3) Assisting in preparing all planning documents associated with program organization, product development and material acquisition including budgets, schedules, reports, and associated records
