You will serve as a PPV QUALITY SUPPORT/ASSURANCE SPECIALIST in the Asset Management Business Line of NAVFAC SOUTHWEST.
Duties
You will prepare and review quality assurance plans and performance assessment plans to ensure adequacy of material and equipment specifications and contractor quality control.
You will draft correspondence to provide quality assessment's information to others.
You will advise leadership on technical requirements or issues based on the results of inspections or assessments.
You will collect quality assurance (QA) data for trend analysis to determine the cause of discrepancies or deficiencies and recommend improvements.
You will evaluate technical solutions and reasonableness of estimated costs and schedules for maintenance, repair, alteration, renovation, and construction.
You will brief management on overall effectiveness of quality assurance (QA) efforts.
You will draft correspondence to provide quality assessment's information to others.
Requirements

- This is a Mission Essential position. You will be required to ensure organization or facility continuity of operations and/or completion of tasks that are considered essential to the mission designated by a local or command decision.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Ensuring an organization follows established policies, codes, regulations, and requirements for the planning, programming, budgeting, and execution of projects; 2) Working with other professionals to solve issues and challenges involving real estate, community planning, land development, architecture, facilities engineering, construction management, and housing management; 3) Interpreting and making recommendations for enforcement and amendments to portions of Business Agreements; and 4) Developing and executing Quality Assurance and Performance Assessment Plans and reports.
