This position is located in the Office of Communications, Washington, DC of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation and serves as a special assistant to the supervisor, assisting with technical, operational and management issues related to graphics and printing.

Duties
Reviews request forms for completeness, accuracy associated with publication requests, and resolves any discrepancies; discuss with and collaborate with program officials to explain governing federal laws, regulations and program policies and provide technical information for methods and processes for procuring various products, and obtain clarification regarding specifications of printing requests.
Qualifications
Qualifying experience may be obtained in the private or public sector. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g. Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic, religious spiritual; community; student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. To qualify, applicants must have completed at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the CG/GS-12 grade level or above in the Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as experience applying project management principles to develop, schedule, coordinate, and track projects to support graphic design printing, publishing and duplicating services and projects; using contracting practices and procedures to procure commercial graphics and printing services.
