This position is located in the Service Center Operations (SCOPS) Directorate, Program Management & Data Division (PMDD), Project Management & Innovation (PMI) Branch.
As a Management and Program Analyst, you will implement, coordinate, and analyze a variety of management programs, prepare and provide briefings, and manage a variety of projects while serving as an expert advisor to senior level executives on complex initiatives.
Duties
Develop strategic plans in support of program operations and initiatives and analyze business and management practices to determine the impact on program operations.
Coordinate project team activities, provide technical assistance to management, and organize team studies.
Assist policy makers in developing initiatives to improve policies and procedures and resolve complex problems.
Plan and execute multiple projects to ensure that priorities are carried out in a timely manner.
Represent the organization through briefings and presentations at meetings and conferences.
Qualifications
The qualifications for this position must be met by 11:59 PM (Eastern Time) on 08/07/2024.
Current Federal employees must have served 52 weeks at the lower grade or equivalent grade band in the Federal service. The Time-in-Grade requirement must be met by 11:59 PM (Eastern Time) on 08/07/2024.
GS-14: You qualify at the GS-14 level if you possess one (1) year of specialized experience, which is equivalent to at least the GS-13 level in the federal government, that equipped you with the skills needed to successfully perform the duties of the position. You must have experience performing the following duties:
Collecting and analyzing data to develop comprehensive strategic plans in support of program initiatives;
Planning and conducting special studies to develop and evaluate new and existing program policies and administrative processes;
Resolving complex organizational challenges by making program recommendations and improvements;
Providing analytical support for planning methodologies, program evaluations, and problem solving.
