About the Position: Serves as a multi-functional subject matter expert (SME), who provides guidance and staff level oversight of geographically dispersed Logistics Readiness Center's (LRCs) under the cognizance of Army Field Support Brigade (AFSB) area of support (AOS).
Duties
Serves as a multi-functional subject matter expert (SME), who provides guidance and staff level oversight of geographically dispersed Logistics Readiness Center's (LRCs) under the cognizance of Army Field Support Brigade (AFSB) area of support (AOS).
Provides program oversight to assure timely operational support and integration of new logistical or changing concepts and to develop methods and techniques required for program execution.
Analyzes and evaluates situation reports from which define findings and problems, and recommend resolutions and actions required to correct the situation.
Prepares correspondence, briefings, plans, operations orders and fragmentary orders to support operations.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Security clearance.
- This is an Army Acquisition, Logistics and Technology Workforce position. Selectee must meet position requirements for Life Cycle Logistics certification within 48 months as of entrance on duty.

Specialized experience is defined as: 1) monitoring progress towards meeting logistics plans and program schedules; 2) identifying the cause and impact of delays to provide recommendations to mitigate delays; AND 3) developing or providing input into acquisition documentation to support milestones or other program decision reviews. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).
