Duties
You will serve as the principal Safety and Occupational Health (SOH) advisor to Installation and Mission managers, analyzing and resolving of high-risk hazards, including explosives, radiation, chemical and related hazardous materials.
You will perform analysis of IMCOM Directorate wide accidents and adverse trends and develops or recommends countermeasures.
You will consult with other HQ IMCOM and Command (ACOMs, ASCCs, DRUs) officials on accident prevention and SOH program analysis within the Army worldwide.
You will assess the degree of compliance, identifies deficiencies, task responsible officials to remedy them, and evaluates adequacy of remedial action.
You will review decisions, procedures and systems to assure no action causes complaints of management reprisal resulting from OSHA complaints.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes managing a safety and occupational health program for an organization/command; assist in the development of safety and occupational health policies and procedures; and assist in the review of plans, policies and procedures to determine safety requirements, hazards, and resolutions. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-13).
