This position is located in the Field Operations Directorate, Office of Field Operations, Compliance Division, Audit Branch, Investor Program Office (IPO). As an Management and Program Analyst, you will be the liaison between the Audit Branch and the rest of Compliance Division / IPO on the coordination of audits. You will also modify and improve procedures and record-keeping of the Audit Program at IPO.

Duties

Plan, evaluate, and improve programs and processes, including, but not limited to advising management on mission and administrative programs requiring a range of qualitative system and management support principles, processes, and systems. Coordinate the development of accurate and consistent internal and external strategic communication materials, draft internal and external communications on behalf of senior leadership and review and edit materials from subject matter experts. Research, gather data, analyze and provide findings and recommendations to senior leadership. Conduct studies to develop responses to management on new requirements in program operations, legislation, and agency regulations; evaluates pertinent legislation and new or revised policies or directives from DHS, USCIS, and other agencies. Provide support for highly customized databases involving client-side administrative activities such as site creation and solution development.

The qualifications for this position must be met by 11:59 PM (Eastern Time) on 08/05/2024. Current Federal employees must have served 52 weeks at the lower grade or equivalent grade band in the Federal service. The Time-in-Grade requirement must be met by 11:59 PM (Eastern Time) on 08/05/2024. GS-14: You qualify at the GS-14 level if you possess one (1) year of specialized experience, which is equivalent to at least the GS-13 level in the federal government, that equipped you with the skills needed to successfully perform the duties of the position. You must have experience performing the following duties: Providing guidance and advice to agency management and leadership based on comprehensive analyses and understanding of the subject matter; Developing new or modifying administrative program work methods and procedures for delivering effective services to customers; Analyzing implementing, and establishing short and long-range work plans and determine the actions necessary to accomplish those objectives and program goals.
