You will serve as a Training Specialist in the Naval Education and Training Command of NAVSCSCOL.
Duties
You will partner and consult with Center for Service Support (CSS) curriculum developers to create, maintain, and modify course content and to ensure training materials are developed within established guidelines and existing regulations
You will report to supervisor on instructional performance, professional growth progress, and training need to present courses for which they are responsible successfully.
You will serve as an advisor to the Aviation Educaton Director of the NSCS. Providing consultant services to Naval Aviation supply professionals serving on afloat units and at ashore support facilities.
You will lead or participate in higher echelons and locally assigned projects, reviews, and studies related to Naval aviation supply management.
You will provide support in the form of services to aid other instructors and administrators in planning, conducting, and evaluating educational programs as they pertain to the various elements of the assigned area of responsibility.
You will provide instruction and serve as a subject matter expert in various aspects of Naval Aviation supply management.
You will conduct technical courses in Naval Aviation supply management including but not limited to inventory management, hazardous materials, requisitioning procedures, and supply computer systems.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Evaluating students to assess knowledge level of supply management; 2) Developing reports on findings from data analysis on supply management educational program; 3) Developing lesson plans for supply management instruction; and 4) Recommending changes to supply management training instructions, regulations, lesson plans and other training related functions. Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree
OR
3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
OR
LL.M., if related OR A combination of experience and graduate education as described above that equates to one year of experience
