You will serve as a Training Specialist for the Center for Service Support of the Naval Education and Training Command (NETC).
Duties
You will maintain curriculum currency and perform curriculum development functions.
You will review course testing programs to ensure that test design documents have been completed and that measurement instruments effectively measure the attainment of the objectives.
You will establish training requirements and determine the training needs for personnel.
You will evaluate courses within designated area of responsibility for applicability, adequacy, technical accuracy and
accomplishment of training objectives.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:1) Demonstrates expert knowledge of curriculum development and software applications (e.g., HTML-5, JavaScript, Adobe Captivate); 2) Possesses knowledge of computer operations which support general course administration, to include operating systems, software applications and general office automation including sound knowledge of Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat.; 3) Possesses knowledge of instructional technology including interactive courseware, video and virtual distance training, and computer-based training, integration of innovative teaching methods supported by technology; 5) Demonstrates knowledge of a variety of educational measurement methods, instructional principles and methods sufficient to develop and revise instructional programs; 6) Monitors information that has bearing on curriculum effectiveness; and 7) Communicates, motivates teams within a multidisciplinary environment requiring a high tolerance level for ambiguity and rapid change.
