You will serve as a HUMAN RESOURCES ASSISTANT (MILITARY) in the NAVY RECRUITING COMMAND DEPARTMENT of NAV RECRUITING DISTRICT SAN FRAN.

Duties

You will serve as an advisor in the daily operation of the Navy Recruiting Processing Station. You will explain work requirements, methods, and procedures. You will monitor the daily processing of scheduled and walk-in applicants. You will instruct employees in specific tasks and job techniques and makes available written instructions, reference materials and supplies.

Requirements

  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
  • Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Applying personnel policies, procedures, rules, and regulations to maintain personnel records; 2) Researching information in records and databases to respond to inquiries regarding human resources issues; 3) Using automated systems to create and maintain records; and 4) Providing direct customer service to customers in a team-focused environment.NOTE: This information must be supported by your resume in order to be considered for the position.
