You will serve as a MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the TRAINING DEPARTMENT of CDR NAVY EXPEDITIONARY COMBAT COMMAND.
Duties
You will review NTSPs, and related products related to new and/or modernized equipment and capabilities and provide feedback for the adequacy and effectiveness of the training plan.
You will develop briefs for NECC Training Summit and other forums as directed.
You will review instructions and other documents as tasked and provide feedback relating to the impact on training and training policy and/or resourcing.
You will represent the Training Directorate (N7) during routinely scheduled conferences and other meetings as assigned.
You will interpret doctrine for NECC training programs based on operational requirements and direction from higher authority.
You will represent the Training Directorate (N7) during routinely scheduled conferences and other meetings as assigned.
You will ensure new technologies, systems, and equipment are fielded to appropriate NECC forces with a well-thought-out training plan to include Initial Training, Interim Training and Follow-on training and appropriate sustainment costing in place.
You will coordinate with NECC staff directorates, NECC subordinate commands, and other training command Subject Matter Experts to validate training requirements to achieve the highest level of readiness training plans.
You will assist with all Ready Relevant Learning (RRL) resourcing and acquisition for Active and Reserve programs.
You will interface with major commands including but not limited to OPNAV, Systems Commands (SYSCOMS), USFF, CPF, NETC, and Type Commanders (TYCOMS) to assist in the development and execution of RRL budgeting.
Requirements

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications
To qualify for the MANAGEMENT ANALYST-GS-0343-12 position, your resume must demonstrate at least one year (52 weeks) of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Experience developing training policies and reviewing program curricula.
Experience with and knowledge of the Navy enlisted rating occupational standards and career paths.
Experience with and knowledge of warfare areas and associated manpower/training issues that impact their associated ratings, SYSCOM, Resource Sponsors, and NETC/Learning Centers.
Experience with the pertinent laws, regulations, policies, and precedents which affect NECF training.
Experience planning, scheduling, and conducting projects and studies to evaluate and recommend ways to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of NECF training.
Experience applying methods and techniques to issues concerning the efficiency and effectiveness of NECF training.
Experience composing, reviewing and editing documents for logical and orderly arrangement of facts in conformance with the Department of the Navy and NECC policy.
Experience developing and presenting Flag-level presentations and briefs.
