Job opening: SENIOR PERFORMANCE ASSESSMENT REPRESENTATIVE

You will serve as a Senior Performance Representative in the Facilities Engineering and Acquisition Division, FSC Branch of NAVFAC ENGINEERING CMD MID-ATLANTIC.

Duties

You will consult with personnel to obtain or exchange information to accomplish work-related activities. You will analyze work plans and the status of work in relation to overall schedule requirements. You will collaborate with performance assessment representatives to ensure requirements of the service contract are clearly understood. You will review customer requirements for technical accuracy to process material orders and requisitions. You will identify problems in contractor performance to make recommendations for solutions. You will compile written reports to provide status or project updates.

  • You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States driver’s license.

  • You will be required to wear personal protective equipment such as helmets, gloves, coveralls, glasses, goggles, respirators and safety shoes continuously for the duration of the work shift.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

  • May be designated as ALPHA personnel and required to report for duty or held in a duty status to provide support before, during and/or after special emergency situations or periods of an increased security threat.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing the following duties: 1) Overseeing for the overall PA and inspection surveillance program, government estimates, documentation and the enforcement of safety standards on facilities maintenance, repair and service contracts; 2) Determining the appropriate method of documentation; 3) Reviewing Contractor's submittals, reports and work schedules; 4) Developing inspection schedules; enforcing safety provisions; validating and preparing contract modification packages; 5) Preparing contract documents (drawings, specifications, costs estimates, Task Orders); 6)Preparing detailed material and labor cost estimates; and 7) Visiting work sites to collect date pertaining to the scope of work, determines the amount and type of labor and material required. You must have successfully completed a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree

have successfully completed 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degreeORhave obtained a LL.M., if related

have a combination of both education and experience. The percentage of the required education plus percentage of the required experience must equal one hundred percent.
