You will serve as the Gray Flag Large Force Test Event (LFTE) Program Manager within the Air Wing Integration & Interoperability and EW Effects (AWI&I/EW Effects) Product Line at of NAVAIRWARCENWPNDIV POINT MUGU.

Duties

You will provide program management leadership to execute Gray Flag cost, schedule, and performance responsibilities; and is primarily accountable to lead the interdisciplinary functional team You will provide Gray Flag demand signal and priorities to NAWCWD’s discipline-level technical capability across multiple groups. You will lead the planning and execution of annual Gray Flag LFTEs incorporating overarching leadership guidance, command strategic focus priorities, and program test objectives.   • This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower pay band (DA-04) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate some or all of the following: 1) Assisting in monitoring cost, schedule and technical performance for all products and services; 2) Assisting in managing facility needs, planning and assignment; 3) Demonstrating knowledge of project/product/program management; and 4) Ensuring comprehensive system engineering principles are followed throughout the life cycle of products.
