Duties
You will serve as a management and program analyst with respect to the research and establishment of guidelines and procedures to develop and sponsor service-level MAGTF communications capabilities.
You will function as an analyst/evaluator and is a recognized expert and technical authority for policy and program analysis of communications systems of interest to the USMC.
You will coordinate the formulation, definition, and modification of objectives and requirements as key management and program informative analysis for interagency military teams and committees.
You will direct complex studies requiring application of analytical and statistical methods with other communications capabilities organizations.
You will develop and implement long-range and short-range planning guidance in accordance with broad USMC/DoD program policies and objectives.
You will develop resource guidance (for staffing and funding) for project activities and performs continuous appraisal of the utilization of command and DoD resources in accomplishing program objectives and goals.
Requirements

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
Qualifications
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
1. Functions as an analyst/evaluator and is a recognized expert and technical authority for policy and program analysis of communications systems of interest to the USMC.
2. Providing technical leadership in evaluation of technical solutions and the impact on USMC's Warfighting Investment and Information Portfolio Evaluation Boards, and other Program Evaluation Boards.
3. knowledge of fundamentals and principles of the Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System (JCIDS) and Capabilities Development/Requirements Management to develop DOTMLPF solutions.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
