You will serve as a MANAGEMENT & PROGRAM ANALYST in the N5 STRATEGY AND FUTURE REQUIREMENTS OFFICE of COMMANDER, NAVY REGION NORTHWEST. Salary range: GS-11: $81,242 - $105,612 per annum GS-12: $97,376 - $126,585 per annum

Duties

You will develop metrics to measure progress against established milestones or benchmarks. You will create a written plan of action to document continuous process improvement initiatives. You will evaluate new program requirements to recommend a course of action for improving management plans (e.g., long-term strategies, goals, objectives). You will brief managers regarding outcome of program analysis or reviews. You will develop oral presentations to report on manpower studies, imbalances or deficiencies.

Qualifications

For the GS-12 Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) interpreting, analyzing, and verifying information to make recommendations related to process or performance improvement; 2) conducting studies of program performance; and 3) developing leadership briefs, notes, and reports. For the GS-11 Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) analyzing and verifying information to support recommendations related to process or performance improvement; 2) supporting studies of program performance; and 3) developing leadership briefs, notes, and reports. Education

For the GS-11, In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:

Successful completion of a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree
OR
Successful completion of 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
OR
